Fez Guided Tour

Today, after you meet with our certified Fez city guide, you will start exploring one of the most historical cities in the world, Fez. 

1. Firstly, you will visit Bab Boujloud, the main entrance into the medina, and one of the city’s most emblematic spots. Admire its ornament mosaic tiles before we continue along Fez’s winding cobblestone alleys.
2. After that, we visit the Madrasa Bou Inania, one of the most stunning examples of Merenid architecture. In addition, is the only Madrasa in Morocco that has a pulpit and a minaret! Its architectural complexity is due to the fact that it functioned simultaneously as a mosque, a cathedral, a student residence, and a school. Today is one of the few religious places in Morocco that are accessible to non-Muslims.
3. Then, we continue deeper into the medina, passing by Talaa Sghira Street to the impressive Nejjarine Fondouk, a museum dedicated to the arts and crafts of wood. 
4. Next, we continue to the Al-Attarine Madrasa, and an equally important monument, the Al-Karaouine, the oldest operating university in the world since 859. 
5. Afterward, we walk over to Seffarine square, the most important center of copper and silver production in Morocco before we continue to the Chouara Tannery. Although the atmosphere is dominated by a strong, unpleasant smell, this is the most picturesque souk in Fez.
6. Finish your tour by passing by the Talaa Kebira, one of the longest and most important souk streets in Fez where you will find small beautiful shops along it.
