Dades Valley

Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Valley of the Roses - Dades Valley

Dinner

Meet your driver at 8 AM at your riad/hotel, and embark on a journey from Marrakech to Dades Valley, passing through the scenic Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains.

As we continue, you’ll be mesmerized by the breathtaking landscape and the charming Berber villages that dot the route.

Our adventure continues southeast, leading us to the picturesque green valley and the city of roses, passing through the captivating Skoura Palmerie. Finally, we’ll arrive at the serene Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night, surrounded by its tranquil beauty.

Merzouga Desert

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert

Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast, we depart from your hotel in Dades Valley, taking the road of 1000 Kasbahs, which winds through the colorful Berber villages of the Dades Valley. After 45 km, we will reach Tineghir with its beautiful palm grove.

Continuing our journey, we’ll arrive at the Todra Gorges, where you’ll have some free time to walk along the canyons, which rise up to 300m high and are a favorite destination for rock climbers.

Next, we will head towards the Erg Chebbi dunes in the Merzouga Sahara Desert, stopping for lunch on the way before reaching Erfoud. From there, we’ll make our way to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Around 16:00, we’ll embark on a camel ride, with camels eagerly waiting to take us on an adventure through the Sahara Desert during the sunset.

As we arrive at the camp, dinner and music with drums will be waiting for us. In the middle of the desert, this presents a wonderful opportunity to capture some lovely pictures. You’ll spend the night in nomad tents, truly immersing yourself in the desert experience.

Ouarzazate

Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Ouarzazate

Breakfast, Dinner

Early in the morning, you will wake up to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, followed by a delightful breakfast served at the camp. Our journey continues as we ride the camels back to Merzouga.

Departing from Merzouga, our route takes us through Rissani, a charming Saharan town situated in the southeast of Morocco. Here, we have the opportunity to make a stop and visit a fascinating fossil workshop before continuing our adventure.

Our path leads us to the junction of Agdez and Draa Valley, from where we head north towards Ouarzazate after crossing the small volcanic Atlas Mountains. In Ouarzazate, we will savor a delectable dinner and spend the night, ready to continue our exploration the next day.

Marrakech

Day 4: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

After breakfast, we have the opportunity to visit the renowned cinema sets and studios in Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Following this exciting experience, we’ll proceed to the universally acclaimed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987.

This historical gem has served as the backdrop for numerous famous films, including “Gladiator,” “Indiana Jones,” and “Lawrence of Arabia.” Take a leisurely walk to explore the captivating Moroccan architectural style showcased in the construction of the Kasbahs. Our journey then continues towards Marrakesh, passing through the scenic High Atlas Mountains, where we’ll make a refreshing lunch stop.

In the afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech, where your driver will drop you off at your accommodation, marking the end of our services.
