Our driver will welcome you to the airport of Fes up to your arrival time and transfer you to the hotel/riad where you will spend the 3 nights of this tour.

Day 2: Fes sightseeing

After breakfast, you will meet with a local tour guide to explore Fez, the most ancient and holy of the Imperial cities. Your cultural and historic tour will take you through the 2000-year-old living medina. A labyrinth of narrow streets, alive with markets and souks, craftsmen, donkeys, and mules transporting their loads. Visit the Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas (Islamic universities), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Karaouine Mosque, and the impressive Chouara tanneries. Afterward, you will have a complete tour of a ceramic factory, and at the end, you can shop in their store, which has a wide variety of high-quality ceramics. Finish your tour with a visit to Fez Jdid and the revered Merenid Tombs for a spectacular panoramic view of Fes.

Day 3: Day trip to Chefchaouen

Breakfast

This morning our driver will come to pick you up from your accommodation at 8 AM, and we will depart for the enchanting mountain village of Chefchaouen. After some stops along the way, we will reach Chefchaouen, famed for its blue-painted walled medina, giving it the nickname of the ‘Blue Pearl’.

Here you will have free time to explore Chefchaouen on your own, a small town with a stunning walled medina. Enjoy a walking tour through Chefchaouen’s cobbled medina, absorbing the Moorish and Spanish atmosphere. Admire the striking blue-and-white houses and visit the 18th-century kasbah, with its tower, garden, and museum. The main square is the heart of Chefchaouen and features a kasbah built in the 18th century, a central mosque, and cafés with authentic Moroccan menus. The town itself is easy to explore. Although the old medina is small, you’ll find souks offering an array of goods. In the afternoon, we will take the way back to Fez, where the driver will drop you off at your hotel/riad.
