Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Tangier

Your private tour from Tangier starts today as our driver will welcome you to the airport or port of Tangier. Transfer to your accommodation and check in. You will have free time during the afternoon to visit the Kasbah district next to the port and the old Medina, or just relax on the beach of Tangier.

Day 2Tangier - Chefchaouen - Fez

This morning after your breakfast, we will depart for Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. Chefchaouen is famous for its vivid blue-rinsed houses and is very popular for both tourists and Moroccans. You will walk to the beautiful medina of Chefchaouen, with its winding lanes, which are home to numerous souks offering artisan works, such as woolen items, intricate embroidery, and goats’ cheese, all native to the North, and not found anywhere else in Morocco. Relax in the square, visit a local farm, or hike in the nearby parks. After that, we will continue to the Imperial city of Fez where you will spend the night in a traditional riad in the medina.

Day 3Fez city guide

After breakfast, you will meet with a local tour guide to explore Fez, the most ancient and holy of the Imperial cities. Your cultural and historic tour will take you through the 2000-year-old living medina. A labyrinth of narrow streets, alive with markets and souks, craftsmen, donkeys, and mules transporting their loads. Here you will visit the Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Karaouine Mosque, and the Chouara tannery. Later on, we will visit a tile cooperative where you will discover the world of Moroccan Pottery before we finish our tour with a visit to the Merenid Tombs, where you will admire the panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fez.

Day 4Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Merzouga - Sahara desert

Pick up from your accommodation early in the morning and depart for the South of Morocco. You will stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have some memorable photos. After that, you will head toward Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest. Continuing to Midelt for a lunch break and then, we will continue to the Ziz Gorges where you will have a stop for a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley.

Then, the drive continues to Aoufous and Erfoud before we reach the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi. These dunes are also called Merzouga Dunes. On arrival, get ready for a camel trek for about an hour to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in a desert camp. Dinner will be served and after that, you enjoy a spectacle with Saharan music before you spend the night in a tent in the middle of the dunes. Dinner and overnight in a tent.

Day 5Sahara Desert - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou

Waking up early in the morning in the Sahara desert is a “must-do” if you want to enjoy the most spectacular sunrise you have ever seen. You will have your breakfast and then your private tour from Tangier continues as we depart towards Tineghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad. Later, we will have a break for lunch before we continue to Todra Gorges via Tinghir. Arrive at Todra Gorges where we will enjoy its marvelous Canyons while hiking on foot. Later on, we will drive to Boumalne du Dades and will make another stop for a panoramic view of Dades Valley. The next site to visit is the Rose Valley going through the big Skoura palm grove, a beautiful place to contemplate more than 700.000 palms and numerous kasbahs that are built in the surrounding area.

In this Valley damascenes, roses are raised for cosmetic use such as the valued rosewater. Our journey continues to Ouarzazate, also known as “The gate of the desert” which in the Berber language means “noiseless or without confusion”. Here we´ll see the Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most spectacular ksars in Morocco. We will stop for a panoramic view of the Kasbah of Taourirt and then, we continue to the fortified village of Aït Ben Haddou, where you will spend the night. Check-in and free time in the afternoon to visit the famous Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Day 6Ait Ben Haddou - Taroudant - Agadir

After your breakfast this morning, we will start our tour by crossing the lower edge of the Atlas mountain range. Our Journey continues through stunning roads and landscapes and on the way, we will admire Berber villages and the beautiful views of the mountains. After some stops on the way, we reach Taroudant. Surrounded by the Atlas Mountains, Taroudant lies in the heart of a fertile valley. Here, you will have time to take a nice walk into Taroudant’s myriad streets and buy some Moroccan saffron growing around the area. Then, we will continue to Agadir, a resort town with numerous restaurants and hotels. After the check-in to the hotel, you will have enough time to discover this beautiful coastal city.

Day 7Day trip to Crocopark & Souss Massa National Park

Today you will have a day around the countryside of Agadir. Firstly, we will make a stop to visit the only zoological park of crocodiles in Morocco. It is home to 325 Nile crocodiles, as well as giant tortoises, iguanas, pythons, anacondas, and marmosets. The park was designed to host crocodiles in a comfortable setting, putting together several important elements, such as cascades in a botanical garden. For children to further enjoy their visit, there is a special playground installed with various themed play areas.

Then, we will head to the Massa National Park and get up close with the Gazelles, Addax, Oryx, and Ostriches. Covering an area of 33.8 hectares, this park aims to restore the Saharan fauna in the South of Morocco. As you enjoy your time in the park, keep an eye out for unique bird species. The area is home to pink flamingos, Audouin’s gulls, and the rare and endangered northern bald ibis. After that, we will enjoy the majestic beach of Sidi Rbat with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean before we head back to Agadir. Free time in the afternoon to stroll around the city or just relax on the beach.
