I was looking for a spiritual experience in Fes but didn't find anything that uplifted my spirits into a trance.. but our guide and driver took me to the synagogue and Jewish quarters which was beautiful.
GBoo travels are the best but what made it amazing was our guide-Salim who is most knowledgeable about his country and heritage that it was a pleasure to go with him. We can't thank him enough and highly recommend him. Morocco is on my best places to visit list! I love it- for me, the best thing was to be in a Muslim country, not a rich first-world country, and find every public bathroom I used was super clean. I hope this sense of cleanliness comes to other countries!
You don't have to cover and you can pretty much wear what you wear in America- tourists can buy alcohol- and most people speak English- Uber is not reliable- I recommend calling GBoo for the amazing tours they have- all are Awesome!
Thanks Salim-

Being 12 days, we never drove more than 5 hours a day (which is what we wanted). Our favorite was the overnight in the riad in the desert followed by a camel trek to the luxury camp. All the accommodations were luxurious and felt special. We stopped twice to see monkeys!
The only small criticism is that sometimes the local guides felt like they were taking us to touristy restaurants and places. One restaurant in Fez was so overpriced compared to everything else we at in Morocco.
But besides that! It was amazing! We learned so much about Morocco, the culture, the religion, and the people.

> TRUSTWORTHY - I canceled 2 years ago because of CoViD. I thought I'm gonna lose what I paid for but Abdelhadi (Gboo) kept his word. We had the tour as planned and I am very grateful for that. I, initially, dealt with a third party because I wanted to pay using my credit card. It's good that the 3rd party gave me details about the Tour Operator, Gboo Tours, because the 3rd party really didn't care about cancellations nor reimbursements. If I have to do it again, I would go straight to Gboo Tours because I know I'm in good hands.
> Customizable - the Tour/s are highly customizable depending on where you wanna go, activities you want to do (especially with drop off/pick up) and which hotels you wanna stay in. There are suggestions but you can do some tweaking. And depending on your budget, you can either stay in hotels or at charming Riads to give you that genuine Moroccan experience. I picked a really good one in Marrakech and I really enjoyed every inch of it ! Other suggested Riads in other places were also very nice, especially those in the Blue City and Fez. My travel companion also liked the one in Asilah, a more modern kind of Riad.
> Some extra - Gboo sent us some tips (need to know) before travel which is very well appreciated (voltage use, SIM card, info about Ramadan, exchange rate, use of cash, etc).
Also, extra things like a photo opp with "An argan tree full of goats !!!". I have traveled with bigger Tour companies and I don't think you'll get this opportunity, since they cater to bigger crowds. With Gboo Tours, it translated my "skepticism: goats on a tree, " into pure joy. The goats are like ornaments on a Christmas tree !
The overall experience is really very good. It's a trip of a lifetime ! Seeing the Sahara Desert in person is mesmerizing !!! Really different from just watching it in the movies. The Blue City of Chefchaouen is also a must see....it's captivating !!!
Again, thank you Gboo for making it happen !
