We booked a private 3-day tour with Gboo Morocco Tours covering roughly 1,200 km through the High Atlas, Aït Ben Haddou, the Anti-Atlas and down to the Souss valley, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. A special mention goes to our driver, Abderrazak, who made the trip. Over three long days and challenging mountain roads — including passes like the Tizi n'Tichka and the winding routes around the Sirwa massif — he drove calmly, smoothly and with great care. We always felt completely safe, even on the most demanding stretches. His English is very good, which made communication easy: he explained what we were seeing, gave helpful local tips, and was happy to adjust stops to our wishes. On top of that, his stamina and endurance were remarkable — covering ~1,200 km in three days behind the wheel is no small feat, yet he stayed focused, friendly and energetic throughout, never rushed and always patient. Abderrazak also treated us to wonderful music along the way — much of it completely new to us. Tinariwen are absolutely fantastic. While our limited time only allowed us glimpses into the life of the Moroccan Berbers, at least through the music we also gained a certain impression of the Tuareg and life in the Sahara. It added a special atmosphere to the long drives and stayed with us long after. The vehicle was comfortable, everything was well organised, and the agency communication beforehand was reliable. If you're looking for a safe, professional and genuinely enjoyable private tour in southern Morocco, we can wholeheartedly recommend Gboo Morocco Tours — and ask for Abderrazak if you can.  Verified Amazing Tour of an Amazing Country! I cannot say enough good things about our experiences with Gboo Morocco. I never use tour companies as I have travelled extensively and love planning trips. In fact, I had planned an 8-day itinerary myself, planning to drive myself. Something told me Morocco might be a good place to go with the tour company route, as I am a gay man traveling with my husband. I am so glad I found Gboo. They suggested even better accommodations than the ones I had selected and I would not have enjoyed driving in Morocco. Communication during the planning phase as well as during the trip itself was excellent. Our driver/tour guide Abderrazak was outstanding in every way! Friendly, knowledgable, flexible, and professional. The car was always clean with bottled water waiting for us when we got in. Often when we got to a tourist site, Zak new a better less crowded place to stop (as opposed to the spots with hoards). The accommodations were all top notch with excellent hosts and comfortable rooms. The city tour guides in Marrakech and Fez were really knowledgable and friendly. I highly recommend this tour company to everyone considering a trip to Morocco. It is truly an amazing country to explore. Oh, and we never felt any discomfort as two gay men traveling together.

 Verified Wonderful unique trip!! Charming Morocco… First time outside of Europe and I really don't know what to say first. A country full of contrasts, kind people, wonderful food, colors, aromas and images that stay engraved in the mind. I have only the best to say about the organization of the tourist office. They took us to amazing places and the people who work with them were constantly by our side, willing to take care of us, fulfill every wish and solve every question we had. We learned the history of the place, got to know its culture and made new friends through this trip. We will definitely return to discover the other beautiful places of this unique country.  Verified Amazing trip to Morocco From Casablanca to Rabat, Fes, Marrakesh, Agafay and back to Casablanca. This 9 day trip through Morocco was truly unforgettable and one of our favorite trips we’ve ever taken. 🇲🇦 A huge thank you to Abderrazak (Zak), our driver throughout the journey, who was incredible from start to finish. Always responsive, thoughtful, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience possible. Having him with us across the country made the trip feel seamless and comfortable. Fes was especially memorable thanks to Fatima, who gave us one of the best Medina and food tours we’ve ever had anywhere in the world. She brought the city to life through its history, stories, and hidden corners, and introduced us to foods and local spots we never would have discovered on our own. Another highlight was our cooking class with Souad at Clock Cafe; an amazing experience filled with warmth, culture, conversation, and incredible food. The riads throughout the trip were beautiful, but Dar Titrit in Marrakesh was exceptional. The design, hospitality and overall atmosphere made it one of the most memorable places we’ve stayed. The hammam experience in Marrakesh was very relaxing and a special way to immerse ourselves in the Moroccan culture. Ending the trip with a night in Agafay was the perfect way to wrap up the journey. Staying at The White Camel was both relaxing and beautiful, and the fun quad tour through the desert added just the right amount of adventure before heading back to Casablanca. Morocco completely exceeded our expectations. The hospitality, food, culture, landscapes, and people made this a truly special experience. We’re already talking about when we can come back.

 Verified Amazing way to experience Morrocco We had an amazing experience with Aissam, our driver and tour guide for the week. As two women, traveling alone, he made us feel welcome , safe, and told us so much about the country. We went from Tanger to Chefchaoeun to Fez, and all of the transfers were smooth and very much enjoyable. Would highly recommend and will definitely be calling them again for our next trip to Morocco.  Verified Custom tour of Tangier to Chefchouen to Fez Our guide Aissam made us feel extremely comfortable and welcome in Morocco. It was our first time visiting the country as two female travelers. Aissam was knowledgeable about the history, culture, and had many stories to tell us as we traveled from Tanger to Fez. He was extremely reliable, a safe driver and great company. It was really a fantastic experience! We made our own customized tour. We started in 10 years and moved south to Chefchouen where we spent a night. One of us had a broken toe and despite this we were able to see so many sites. Our guide was extremely flexible and gave us rides as needed. From the first inquiry email I sent to the moment we were dropped off at the airport at the end of the trip, we felt completely taken care of. All my questions were answered professionally and very promptly as we were in the planning stages. Once our trip got closer, we were given all the little details to make sure our pick up was smooth. Aissam, our driver, tour guide, and now friend picked us up in Marrakech and made sure we were tucked into our hotel for the night. We can't say enough good things about him! He truly made our trip special. He was so knowledgeable, not only about Morocco and its history, but about random facts.  Verified A Brilliant 10-Day Moroccan Adventure with Aissan and Gboo Tours! We had an amazing tour organised by Gboo Morocco Tours, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The itinerary was really well thought out. We saw so much of Morocco, from busy cities to mountains and the desert, but it never felt rushed or overwhelming. The balance was just right, with plenty of time to explore, relax and properly take everything in. The hotels were also great throughout the trip. We stayed in some beautiful riads and lovely desert accommodation, all comfortable, welcoming and full of character. Each place felt carefully chosen and added to the whole experience. What really made the trip special though was Aissan. He wasn’t just our driver, he was a fantastic guide and host. He shared so much knowledge about Morocco, its culture and traditions, and always made sure we were comfortable and happy. He has a calm, kind nature and a great sense of humour, which made the long drives enjoyable and the whole journey feel easy. What impressed us most was how dedicated he was. Even though he wasn’t feeling his best during part of the trip, he still went above and beyond for us every single day. Nothing was ever too much trouble. And as a lovely final touch, we came home with our favourite Moroccan biscuits, baked by his own sister. Such a thoughtful, personal gesture... it really sums up the warmth and generosity we experienced throughout. We would absolutely recommend Gboo Morocco Tours to anyone thinking about visiting Morocco. We researched many different companies but this one drew our eye with great reviews and we were not disappointed at all. Our driver and tour guide, Abderrazak, was professional, patient and very friendly. During our long drives, he would make calculated restroom stops at the cleanest gas stations, and would take us to the best restaurants along the way. The vehicle comfortably fit 6 people, offered WIFI, AC and enough space for 6 small suitcases and backpacks. The only downside is that we wished we could have tacked on an extra day to see more of the desert! Before setting off on our journey, Abdelhadi was our contact who helped personalize our tour. He managed to accommodate all our requests from our wish lists including glamping out in the Saraha (with camel rides), buying Moroccan rugs from locals, and stopping off at unbelievable scenic spots offering the most beautiful views of natural rock formations etched into mountains for an unforgettable experience. We’re a couple in our 80s and had the pleasure of working with Abdelhadi, who was very professional, responsive, and patient. He answered all our questions via email and WhatsApp. We asked for affordable luxury accommodation and mentioned my husband's mobility issue. Abdelhadi arranged beautiful, authentic riads that were both comfortable and accessible. Since we didn’t want to do the camel ride, he organized a 4WD transfer to the desert camp instead. The camp was very comfortable, with en-suite bathrooms and hot water far beyond our expectations. Our driver, Aissam, was amazing, friendly, punctual, and very knowledgeable about Morocco. We booked the 11 day Morocco tour with them. We includes myself and three of my compadres, of which one is my bff. I must say, the itinerary was fantastic, bringing us across all of Morocco. The highlight of the trip must be the trip to the edge of the Sahara, despite being sick at that point of time. I refer readers to my review of Orient Desert Camp for a more thorough review of my experience. The tour brought us to plenty of interesting places, such as Marrakesh, Chefchauonen, and Fez. Our driver, Mohammed, was most helpful, kind and fantastic. During the trip, three of us felt unwell to varying degrees. He immediately suggested bringing us to a pharmacy to get proper medications, and helped us translate our ailments to the relevant personnel. He also continuously checked in on our wellbeing the next few days. He was also always punctual and had a cheerful disposition at all times, and tried to make conversation despite times whereby we had slight language barriers. Perhaps this was due to our Asian accent to which he was unfamiliar with, but we had a blast of a time. Finally, he took initiative to engage local walking tours for us, beyond the two fixed guides that were previously included. He also gave detailed instructions as to where to visit upon reaching our destinations, and offered his services if needed. The car was also kept prim, proper, tidy and clean everyday, which we greatly appreciated.

I chose Gboo after reading a good Google review from a customer about bringing his senior parents to Morocco as I'll be bringing my senior mom. We had a great time with our driver Aissam who also doubled as a local guide as he was really knowledgeable about the places we went to and places we passed by during our journey from city to city. He was not only good company which made the trip enjoyable but also attentive to ensure my mom was well taken care of most times during the entire trip. Gboo's owner, Abdelhadi planned a great itinerary for our 12 days trip and was very responsive in the initial planning stage. He ensured we had detailed trip info in preparation for our first trip to Morocco. The riads he suggested were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Gboo arranged a home cooked lunch for us in Dades Valley where we had a warm and memorable experience of Berber hospitality. I highly recommend Gboo Morocco for your local tour agent. Travelled as a family with adult children and parents in there early 80s and we were looked after so well by Ibrahim who ensured we were not ripped off and even organised a birthday cake for my Dad on his 84th birthday. I was a bit nervous sending a deposit to an account in Morocco as you hear so much about scams but Gboo tours were not just a real company but exceeded our expectations with arrangements and the quality of the tour. This was the first trip post pandemic with my elderly parents who are 75 years old. I knew travel would be stressful with all the additional precautions that we had to take.  In Morocco itself, things went smoothly. A lot of the stress was reduced because we were taken care of so well. Mr Abdelhadi took pains to secure appropriate lodgings as my parents had difficulty climbing stairs. Tours were modified to accommodate my mom's difficulty in walking far and sloping terrain. The driver (Mr Balatif) is a careful and safe driver, endlessly patient with our many requests and at times my unreasonableness and crankiness. :) Truly his politeness and efforts taken on our behalf made things so much better and my parents took a real liking to him. The lodgings selected by the agency were all great (Riad Marjana, Orient Desert Camp, Dar Bergui, Riad Amin) and met our requirements with friendly staff and great locations. We did have some trouble with the car given to us but the agency assured us that they are upgrading their fleet and we should not have any issues should we return and travel with them again. I was looking for a travel agency that could help me realize this dream amidst difficult conditions, the global health situation. Looking for the right agency, I found Gboo Morocco tours. I saw the promotional information material and followed Gboo Morocco tours on Instagram. Since then, I have been following its posts and I have found that the managers know very well not only their work but also the place, the culture, the habits, they know Morocco from the inside and experientially. I got in touch with the agency and a whole world opened up before me. The people in charge, Dimitra and Abdel, were just the people I was looking for. I requested a trip based in Marrakech and excursions in the surrounding area as well as a visit to Casablanca and Rabat. The people organized an amazing seven day trip, of which we stayed four in Marrakech, took a day trip to the Ouzoud waterfalls, a day trip to the Atlas villages and the Sahara Desert Gate in the town of A BenHaddou. We stayed one night in Essaouira and continued all the way across the Atlantic to Casablanca and Rabat where we stayed one night. We were transported in an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle and had a personal driver, the amazing Rachid! Rachid, a native of the Atlas villages in the Sahara, was very kind, helpful, knew the place well and introduced us to Moroccan music, as on all the routes, especially towards the Sahara, we heard ethnic, Berber, Moroccan songs in the car that matched the landscape. The images, visual and acoustic, truly shocked us. Rachid stopped every now and then for us to rest and enjoy coffee or tea. The cities before the Desert Gate seem as if they have slipped out of a faded postcard and are traveling through time. For accommodation, we chose to stay in a Riyadh, a traditional accommodation with elaborate facades, indoor fountains in outdoor spaces, and patinated old-fashioned furniture that transports you to your grandmother's fairy tales from the Arabian Nights. Our office had booked accommodation in three different Riyadhs, which were truly special, traditional, and stately. One of them was like a palace. The breakfast was rich and delicious. Their food was excellent. The employees were polite. Although it is a widespread rumor that one can experience traveler's nausea, and although we had purchased the appropriate medications as a precaution, nothing unexpected happened to us. We ate both in the Riyadh and in restaurants outside. The important thing is that this travel document provides you with security and comfort. It is essential in times like these to feel safe when changing continents. Throughout our trip there, Dimitra was in communication with both us and the driver, so that everything went smoothly. Any modification we wanted to make to the program or the meeting time with the driver was discussed and a solution was found immediately. Also, the travel agent had taken care of solving all the procedures regarding the documents and forms for the trip, which was very important. She had printed out any information about Morocco and general safety instructions for us. In general, we enjoyed a magical trip safely, since we didn't worry about anything. They had organized everything perfectly from beginning to end. In the Medina of Marrakech and the Desert Gate, we had a guided tour by an English-speaking guide. We visited all the sights and stopped often for photos. We tried many activities. Camel rides, horseback riding on the Atlantic beach in Essaouira. Our visit to the Atlas studios, where many famous films were filmed, was very interesting, as was the visit to a traditional workshop producing cosmetics from argan oil. As for the prices of the travel agency, the cost-value ratio is absolutely normal for the services and care.
