We booked the 11 day Morocco tour with them. We includes myself and three of my compadres, of which one is my bff. I must say, the itinerary was fantastic, bringing us across all of Morocco. The highlight of the trip must be the trip to the edge of the Sahara, despite being sick at that point of time. I refer readers to my review of Orient Desert Camp for a more thorough review of my experience. The tour brought us to plenty of interesting places, such as Marrakesh, Chefchauonen, and Fez. Our driver, Mohammed, was most helpful, kind and fantastic. During the trip, three of us felt unwell to varying degrees. He immediately suggested bringing us to a pharmacy to get proper medications, and helped us translate our ailments to the relevant personnel. He also continuously checked in on our wellbeing the next few days. He was also always punctual and had a cheerful disposition at all times, and tried to make conversation despite times whereby we had slight language barriers. Perhaps this was due to our Asian accent to which he was unfamiliar with, but we had a blast of a time. Finally, he took initiative to engage local walking tours for us, beyond the two fixed guides that were previously included. He also gave detailed instructions as to where to visit upon reaching our destinations, and offered his services if needed. I chose Gboo after reading a good Google review from a customer about bringing his senior parents to Morocco as I'll be bringing my senior mom. We had a great time with our driver Aissam who also doubled as a local guide as he was really knowledgeable about the places we went to and places we passed by during our journey from city to city. He was not only good company which made the trip enjoyable but also attentive to ensure my mom was well taken care of most times during the entire trip. Gboo's owner, Abdelhadi planned a great itinerary for our 12 days trip and was very responsive in the initial planning stage. He ensured we had detailed trip info in preparation for our first trip to Morocco. The riads he suggested were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Travelled as a family with adult children and parents in there early 80s and we were looked after so well by Ibrahim who ensured we were not ripped off and even organised a birthday cake for my Dad on his 84th birthday. I knew travel would be stressful with all the additional precautions that we had to take. In Morocco itself, things went smoothly. A lot of the stress was reduced because we were taken care of so well. Mr Abdelhadi took pains to secure appropriate lodgings as my parents had difficulty climbing stairs. Tours were modified to accommodate my mom's difficulty in walking far and sloping terrain. The driver (Mr Balatif) is a careful and safe driver, endlessly patient with our many requests and at times my unreasonableness and crankiness. :) Truly his politeness and efforts taken on our behalf made things so much better and my parents took a real liking to him. The lodgings selected by the agency were all great (Riad Marjana, Orient Desert Camp, Dar Bergui, Riad Amin) and met our requirements with friendly staff and great locations. We did have some trouble with the car given to us but the agency assured us that they are upgrading their fleet and we should not have any issues should we return and travel with them again. Αναζητούσα ένα ταξιδιωτικό πρακτορείο που θα μπορούσε να με βοηθήσει να υλοποιήσω αυτό το όνειρο εν μέσω δύσκολων συνθηκών, της υγειονομικής κατάστασης παγκοσμίως. Αναζητώντας το κατάλληλο γραφείο, εντόπισα το Gboo Μαρόκο tours. Είδα το διαφημιστικό πληροφοριακό υλικό και ακολούθησα το Gboo Μαρόκο tours στο Instagram. Έκτοτε, παρακολουθούσα τις αναρτήσεις του και διαπίστωσα πως οι ιθύνοντες γνωρίζουν πολύ καλά όχι μόνο την δουλειά τους αλλά τον τόπο, την κουλτούρα, τις συνήθειες, γνωρίζουν εκ των έσω και βιωματικά το Μαρόκο. Ήρθα σε επαφή με το γραφείο και ένας ολόκληρος κόσμος ανοίχτηκε μπροστά μου. Οι υπεύθυνοι, η Δήμητρα και ο Αμπντέλ, ήταν απλώς οι άνθρωποι που αναζητούσα. Ζήτησα ένα ταξίδι με βάση το Μαρακές και εκδρομές στα πέριξ αλλά και μία επίσκεψη στην Καζαμπλάνκα και την Ραμπάτ. Οι άνθρωποι οργάνωσαν ένα καταπληκτικό ταξίδι επτά ημερών, εκ των όποιων μείναμε τέσσερις στο Μαρακές, κάναμε ημερήσια εκδρομή στους καταρράκτες Ouzoud, ημερήσια εκδρομή στα χωριά του Άτλαντα έως και την Πύλη της ερήμου Σαχάρα στην πόλη A BenHaddou. Μείναμε για μία διανυκτέρευση στην Εσσαουίρα και συνεχίσαμε όλη την διαδρομή στον Ατλαντικό προς την Καζαμπλάνκα και την Ραμπάτ όπου διαμείναμε για μία νύχτα. Η μετακίνησή μας γινόταν με κλιματιζόμενο τετρακίνητο όχημα και είχαμε προσωπικό οδηγό, τον καταπληκτικό Rachid! Ο Rachid, γηγενής από τα χωριά του Άτλαντα στην Σαχάρα, ήταν ευγενέστατος, εξυπηρετικός, γνώριζε καλά τον τόπο και μας μύησε στην Μαροκινή μουσική, καθότι σε όλες τις διαδρομές, κυρίως προς την Σαχάρα ακούγαμε μέσα στο αμάξι έθνικ, βερβερίνικα, μαροκινά τραγούδια που ταίριαζαν με το τοπίο. Οι εικόνες, οπτικές και ακουστικές, πραγματικά μάς συγκλόνισαν. Ο Rachid σταματούσε κάθε τόσο για να ξεκουραστούμε και να απολαύσουμε καφέ ή τσάι. Οι πόλεις πριν από την Πύλη της ερήμου φαντάζουν σαν να έχουν ξεγλιστρήσει από ξεθωριασμένο καρτ ποστάλ και ταξιδεύουν στον χρόνο. Για την διαμονή, επιλέξαμε να μείνουμε σε Ριάντ, παραδοσιακό κατάλυμα με λεπτουργημένες προσόψεις, εσωτερικά σιντριβάνια σε αίθριους χώρους, πατιναρισμένα έπιπλα παλαιάς κοπής, που σε μεταφέρουν στα παραμύθια της γιαγιάς για τις χίλιες και μία νύχτες. Το γραφείο μας είχε κλείσει διαμονή σε τρία διαφορετικά Ριάντ, τα οποία ήταν πραγματικά ξεχωριστά, παραδοσιακά και αρχοντικά. Ένα από αυτά ήταν σαν παλάτι. Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο και γευστικότατο. Το φαγητό τους εξαιρετικό. Οι υπάλληλοι ευγενείς. Παρ' ότι είναι διαδεδομένη η φήμη ότι μπορεί να νιώσει κανείς την ναυτία του ταξιδιώτη, και παρ'ότι είχαμε προμηθευτεί τα κατάλληλα φάρμακα προληπτικά, ωστόσο δεν μας συνέβη κανένα απρόοπτο. Φάγαμε και στα Ριάντ και σε εστιατόρια εκτός. Το σημαντικό είναι ότι το εν λόγω ταξιδιωτικό σού παρέχει ασφάλεια και άνεση. Είναι βασικό σε τέτοιες εποχές να νιώθεις ασφαλής αλλάζοντας ήπειρο. Καθ' όλη την διάρκεια του ταξιδιού μας εκεί, η Δήμητρα ήταν σε επικοινωνία τόσο μαζί μας όσο και με τον οδηγό, προκειμένου να βαίνουν όλα ομαλά. Οποιαδήποτε τροποποίηση επιθυμούσαμε στο πρόγραμμα ή την ώρα συνάντησης με τον οδηγό την συζητούσαμε και βρίσκαμε αμέσως λύση. Επίσης, το ταξιδιωτικό είχε φροντίσει να μας λύσει όλα τα διαδικαστικά σχετικά με τα έγγραφα και τις φόρμες για το ταξίδι, πράγμα πολύ σημαντικό. Μας είχε εκτυπώσει οποιαδήποτε πληροφορία σχετικά με το Μαρόκο και γενικές οδηγίες ασφάλειας. Γενικότερα απολαύσαμε ένα μαγικό ταξίδι με ασφάλεια, αφού δεν ανησυχούσαμε για τίποτα. Τα είχαν οργανώσει όλα άρτια από την αρχή έως το τέλος. Στην Μεντίνα του Μαρακές και την Πύλη της ερήμου είχαμε ξενάγηση από αγγλόφωνο ξεναγό. Επισκεφτήκαμε όλα τα αξιοθέατα και σταματούσαμε συχνά για φωτογραφίες. Δοκιμάσαμε πολλές δραστηριότητες. Βόλτες με καμήλες, ιππασία στην παραλία του Ατλαντικού στην Εσσαουίρα. Πολύ ενδιαφέρον είχε η επίσκεψή μας στα στούντιο Atlas, όπου γυρίστηκαν πολλές γνωστές ταινίες, καθώς και η επίσκεψη σε παραδοσιακό εργαστήριο παραγωγής καλλυντικών από έλαιο argan. Ως προς τις τιμές του ταξιδιωτικού γραφείου, η σχέση κόστους - αξίας είναι απολύτως φυσιολογική για τις παροχές και την φροντίδα.
